Singintuit is grounded in constructivist and somatic learning models, drawing influence from trauma-informed pedagogy, wholistic voice-work, the Alexander Technique, and intuitive embodiment work.

We teach the whole person (nervous system, identity, and artistry).

Our method balances:

  • System—clear structure, process and progress.

  • Story—emotional attunement and self-discovery.

  • Soul—our deeper “why.”

What are Constructivist and Somatic Learning Models?

Constructivist Learning Model

This is the idea that people learn best by building their own understanding through experience, reflection, and active exploration.

In other words:

  • We don’t just tell students what to do.

  • We create space for them to discover how it works in their own body.

  • We ask, “What did you notice?” more than we say, “Here’s what you did wrong.”

It emphasizes student ownership, personalized learning, and the idea that knowledge is constructed from within.

Somatic Learning Model

“Somatic” means body-based. This model centers the body’s felt sense as the gateway to understanding and growth.

In practice:

  • Students learn to trust sensation over intellectual theory.

  • Instead of talking about singing, they experience it viscerally.

  • Teachers help students feel their alignment, breath flow, or resonance instead of just describing it.

  • We teach with the ultimate goal of helping each student become their own best intuitive teacher.

This is especially important to understand in vocal training, because the voice lives in the body. We treat the body as the teacher itself.
